Sooooo anyone still here?

Despite the fact that I haven't done shit in months, dA is still my homepage, so I visit at least once a day and clear out my inbox and all that.

I'm in school at SVA (School of Visual Arts) in NYC, so I'm actively doing work. Just right now it's learning stuff so none of it is really presentable yet.

I have Maya now and I'm learning animation, I have no clue how to do any abstract modeling or anything like I did in Cinema 4D. If anyone else uses Maya or knows good tutorials or anything that'd be sick, I miss doing abstract shit

I did some more Illustrator in my imaging class and realized I really don't like it. My heart lies with Photoshop. I have CS4 production premium, I'm ready to get into it and make badass stuff, when I feel like I have time. Still adjusting to college and living in the city etc.

NYC kicks ass by the way. I do miss home (which is only 2 hours away tops) but everything is here. Everything.

So that's it. I'm procrastinating from art history reading right now, so I figured why not make a journal entry. Haven't done that in almost a year and a half. Thought it'd be cute. Reply if you're cool. Later.

Man, it's been a while, huh?
School is finally over, which almost single-handedly kept me from getting much accomplished as far as art. So I'm gonna try getting back into the groove again, I have a couple pieces I still never finished that I'm gonna look back on, and see about updating my website as well.

Also, I've been looking out for my 10,000th pageview but I missed it by 6. Anyway, congrats to me, I'm pretty happy about that.

This will also be a summer for music for me. Gonna try getting a band started, and work on my music duo with Nathan Rich (~nrich). We're planning on putting out our second album under the name The Air Castles, so I got a lot of demos to work out.


UNTIL THEN. Maybe I'll remember to update this and not have a 10 month gap like this last one.
